EAAL project is in full swing

Dr Johanna Robinson, SIAE

»My profesor from Finland used to say that the first step in order for a person to move towards a green activity is to understand that something needs to be done. To feel the guilt inside.«

The future of work and skills – how to overtake or even co-create trends?

Zvonka Pangerc Pahernik, MSc, SIAE:

»For reliable skills intelligence, the best resources and tools must be used, as well as combined and upgraded when appropriate. However, it serves to be cautious, as numbers can quickly lead us to conclusions that do not correspond to the actual situation. Precisely that is what the participants thought when Dr Ilias Livanos from Cedefop presented the European Skill Index study and focused on the trends and results for Slovenia.«

Three opportunities for learning and exchanging experiences

Zvonka Pangerc Pahernik, MSc, SIAE:

»Over the years, activities for awareness-raising of the importance of ALE have resulted in many good relationships with national and international like-minded people and occasional project partners. In March this year, we renewed contacts with three of them, learned a lot of new and exciting information and shared our experiences and ideas.«

Upskilling Pathways – again under scrutiny

Zvonka Pangerc Pahernik, MSc, SIAE:

»The UP initiative involves three steps. It consists of assessing existing skills, creating a tailored learning offer and validating and recognising learning outcomes. These steps are accompanied by support measures such as guidance, outreach, educators’ professional development, etc.«
