The future of work and skills – how to overtake or even co-create trends?

»For reliable skills intelligence, the best resources and tools must be used, as well as combined and upgraded when appropriate. However, it serves to be cautious, as numbers can quickly lead us to conclusions that do not correspond to the actual situation. Precisely that is what the participants thought when Dr Ilias Livanos from Cedefop presented the European Skill Index study and focused on the trends and results for Slovenia.«

Three opportunities for learning and exchanging experiences

Upskilling Pathways – again under scrutiny

»The UP initiative involves three steps. It consists of assessing existing skills, creating a tailored learning offer and validating and recognising learning outcomes. These steps are accompanied by support measures such as guidance, outreach, educators’ professional development, etc.«
