After a break of several years, we revived the tradition of inspiring gatherings as part of the Study Circles Caravan, this time among the karst fields and forests where nature follows its own rhythm. This year, Pivka welcomed study circle participants, their mentors and everyone who believes in the power of community learning. On Saturday, 13 June, the Pivka Tourism Institute opened its doors for a full day of activities, bringing together everyone inspired by the creativity of study circles. The main venue was Krpanov dom Culture Centre, which at 10 am became a lively meeting place for sharing knowledge, good practices and new ideas.

The morning was devoted to presentations by study circles from across Slovenia. A special place was given to those led within the host organisation by long-standing mentor Marjeta Marinčič. Participants had the opportunity to discover stories reflecting the rich creativity of study circles and their power to bring local communities together. In the afternoon, activities moved to the outdoor presentation area, with workshops and glimpses into the life of study circles. A separate professional session was also organised for mentors.

The Study Circles Caravan remains a place where learning, creativity and community come together. We were therefore especially pleased to welcome the study circle mentors and participants, whose presentations helped create a wonderful programme (in Slovenian).
